THNC's business philosophy is separate from specifying hardware and software, but it affects how people use this equipment and the environment we help create.

1. THNC will begin with full commitment to quality service and information integrity. The creation of our reputation must be done correctly the first time.
2. We will hire people with a passion for technology and a desire to help others.
3. We will work from the beginning to enable our employees in a Quality-Empowerment environment.
4. We will strive to create the best working conditions, to produce the best products and services for our members, and become the best single source of information about home networking.
5. We will commit ourselves to this philosophy and evolve our business in fundamentally sound, conservative ways.
6. We will develop an Ethical Standard which creates a foundation for everything we do in our business. It will act as a guide for the ways that we treat each other, the ways we interact with members, and the ways that gathered information is evaluated. The quality of information shared with members is a reflection of our business ethic and the quality of our products and services.
7. Our collective challenge is to keep the THNC database current with new technology, new discoveries, new products, new techniques, etc. Our work will be to responsibly study and understand state-of-the-art products, updates about ongoing research, developments in new and revised protocols, and more, much more.
